Am really enjoying using this engine and thanks for building the editor for us.
I have unfortunately run into problems with the editor on Mac OS X Tiger.
The materials tab when clicked throws an error saying it cannot locate my xml.
If I simply load in a file written on a PC I get something like ‘asas a sa a’ as my XML. Could be text encoding, so I simply copied and pasted the XML into a new scene.
Geometry tab rendered layout fine, obviously.
Materials tab wouldn’t load the XML linked in the definitions tab.
Next, I tried to create a basic scene from scratch and simply load a material in from the XML. This time, the XML was referenced fine, but the swf would not load, even though the URL was relative, (showing as absolute in the error message, so was checked as correct).
Sorry, one more test.
I tried your example files. Opened example1.xml in the editor and the geometry tab simply did nothing, and the materials tab said it couldn’t open the western_gfx.xml in the definitions folder.
If you know about this issue and you have a fix or know of a common trick for pre-intel Mac G5 OS X Tiger (fully updated), please could you send me it. I know you are busy, but this would be a life saver.
good work~
